Background:

Vu’s full name Vusumusie means “Wake the whole house”.  This might give you the impression that he was a rambunctious little kid.  To know him now you would never believe it.  He is quiet spoken mild mannered and a very humble man.  He and his wife "Marvelous" (don't you love African names?) have two children. BOHI was introduced to Pastor Vu by Pastor Jeff and Tammy Scorziell of Bulawayo Baptist Church.  We did two training sessions with Vu in 2012. The first was at the town of Lupane which was not much more than a gas stop and a post office.  Currently a new Agricultural University is being built at Lupane and it is close enough (120Km) to Bulawayo that Vu can travel there to do more Smart Choices classes if necessary. A lot of the Smart Choices classes that Vu teaches is in the outlying rural venues like Plumtree, Gwanda.

The second training session that we taught was in Victoria Falls and resulted in a permanent team being established there, led by Pastor Cyprian Shumba.  Pastor Vu also represents the True Love Waits program, which is a good accompanying program to the Smart Choices.
