Background:

Moses Lyagoba is the President and Administrator of Canada Africa School Project (CASP) and Beacon of Hope has been partnering with CASP to teach the Smart Choices program in various parts of Uganda since 2011.  Moses and his teams have taught 62,713 children and counting. Moses has been very successful in building relationships with local and national government leaders, and Arch Diocese clergy in various regions. His ability to plan strategically and execute successfully has allowed his ministry to expand into new territories. He is one of the most effective team leaders and organizers, and serves as a model for the other BOHI affiliates in Zimbabwe, Zambia, and South Africa. 

Prayer Requests:

Moses has been so successful that numerous additional opportunities are available to expand the program in Uganda by increasing the number of teams and regions where they operate. This expansion would mean that more children can hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the life saving Smart Choices program, especially in war-torn Northern Uganda. The only thing stopping this growth is a lack of funding. Although he has found local sources of funding, his success in expanding is outpacing his funding sources.
