Mission
trips to South Africa are typically undertaken by churches from the east
coast, specifically Massachusetts, New York, Maryland, but can
have other churches or participants and has had participants
from Colorado in 2007.
During the first week of the mission trip a joint training
session is done with the local hosting church and the visiting
church. In the second week the joint teaching teams go out to
the designated school to present the Smart Choices HIV AIDS
education program.
