Sharon Lynn P. DeLannoy: born and raised in North
Dakota. She is from a family of 4 children. Lived in Minnesota and
Iowa, before moving to CA in 1971. She met and married Bill De Lannoy in
1974, while a single mom of three great boys! Together She and Bill now
had 6 children, as Bill brought with him 2 precious little girls and
another great boy! The children are all grown now, and 11
grandchildren who are a wonderful blessing and are really great people in
their own right have been added. She is humbled and thankful for the
blessing of the family the Lord has allowed her to be a part of.
She came to know Christ as her Savior in 1977, which was the highlight of
her life, and she will be forever in awe of the mystery of God’s amazing
love for her and Jesus provision for her: a sinner undeserving of His
marvelous Grace! She has led several Women’s Ministries in
churches in the US and also when living in Germany and the
Netherlands.
Presently, she leads a Women’s Ministry at The Heights Church in
Prescott Arizona, as well as getting a new career as a Professional
Realtor underway with Kathleen Yamauchi/Russ Lyon Realty in Prescott. (You

She and Bill took their first missions trip in 1983 to Poland. Following
that trip, they sensed God’s call to return, and become fulltime
missionaries to Eastern Europe. They moved to Europe 1986, & Bill
traveled behind the Iron Curtain for 3 years, 1986-1989.
They have been a part of or led many short term mission trips in the last
15 years. Besides South Africa, she has also gone on mission trips to:
Argentina, China, Thailand, the former Soviet Union, she worked for a
mission agency in So. CA called KIDWORKS, an agency ministering to “at
risk” kids in central Santa Ana, as Volunteer Coordinator. They also
serve on the Board of Amazing Grace Ministries, a CA based ministry. |

She is passionate about the plight of people in the
grips of the AIDS/HIV crisis in Africa. This has motivated her to
make several trips, teaching 10th & 11th grade
students about prevention of this disease, as well as showing the Jesus
Film for Children to many Zulu People in the Eastern Coast of So. Africa.
